The National Capital Region Tamil Association (NCRTA) held its fifth Annual Indoor Winter Picnic on Saturday February 27th 2010. We had a great turn out as in previous years. Weather also cooperated with us.
This half-day fun filled event included games and entertainments for children, seniors, and adults. Youth and university students also participated in the event as program coordinators. Food and refreshment were served. Local businesses were given an opportunity to advertise their products & services at this event.
In addition, in recognition of Rev. Philip Ratnapala's dedicated humanitarian service to the people in need for over 25 years, NCRTA presented a plaque containing a poem written about him.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation for volunteers, sponsors, attendees, event-coordinators and participants for having given their utmost contribution in achieving a big success in all aspects of the event. It would not have been possible to achieve this without all your contribution.
NCRTA is deeply grateful for your support and generosity. It was the great support of the community, volunteers, participants and business alike made this event possible. We fully appreciate this support and will continue to work with the community to bring more family events in the future.
Thank you to those of you filled out the feedback forms distributed at the event. Click here to provide us with your feedback online. Your valuable feedback will allow us to improve on our programs in the future.
Again, thank you for making this event a success.
