President of National Capital Region Tamil Association (NCRTA), Mrs. Noeline Dominic unveiled the
Tamil Heritage Month Banner at the Ottawa Police Headquarters (474 Elgin Street) on January 14, 2017.
This banner had been on display during the month of January 2017 to celebrate the proclamation of Tamil Heritage Month by the Canadian Government.
Also during this meet, general discussions took place with Staff Sergeant David M. Zackrias (Diversity and Race Relations) about the Tamil Community in Ottawa and the role of NCRTA. Also present at the event NCRTA's Cultural Coordinator Mr. Sivaruban Sivalingam and members of the Ottawa Police Services.
