National Capital Region Tamil Association (NCRTA) is holding its Ninth Annual Sports Tournament on Saturday June 21st 2014 and Sunday June 22nd 2014 in Kanata and Barrhaven respectively.

Event Details:
 Registration Deadline:
Last day for team registration is June 16, 2014. Learn More
Admission:
Admission is Free, except an entrance fee for the participation.

Main goal of the event is for friendly competition in a family type atmosphere.

This is a two days event.

  • Day #1: Saturday, June 21, 2014 -- 9:00 am to 9:00 pm at AYJSS Kanata
  • A.Y. Jackson Secondary School Sports Field
    150 Abbeyhill Drive, Kanata, ON, K2L 1H7
    (Hazeldean Road & Eagleson Road -- Map)

    Activities: Adults Volleyball, Adults Cricket, Kids Cricket

  • Day #2: Sunday, June 22, 2014 -- 9:00 am to 7:00 pm at Clarke Fields Park
  • Clarke Fields Park
    93 Houlahan Street, Nepean, ON
    (Strandherd Drive & Gorman Drive in Barrhaven -- Map)

    Activities: Soccer (Adults), Soccer kids (7-14), Freekick pre-school kids, Target hit pre-school kids, Slow bike race, Women sports and Senior activities.

    Registration Deadline and Contact Info:

    Registration deadline is Monday, June 16, 2014. Please click here to contact the responsible persons to register.
    Water, Snacks, Drinks and Meal:

    NCRTA will be providing water free of charge at the event.

    Food and drinks will be sold at the event on both days. The proceeds from the food sale will go towards supporting Tamils in the homeland through IMHO (International Medical Health Organization based in Toronto). The project TBD.
