Invitation for the 7th Annual Sports Tournament - 2012

National Capital Region Tamil Association (NCRTA) is holding its Seventh Annual Sports Tournament on Friday June 22nd 2012, Saturday June 23rd 2012 and Sunday June 24th 2012.

Event Details:
 Registration Deadline:
Last day for team registration is June 15, 2012. Maximum of 8 teams for Adult Cricket, Volleyball and Soccer events. Learn More

Food Sale Proceeds:
Food and drinks will be sold at the event on all three days. Proceeds will go towards supporting war widowed families in Mullaitivu. (Learn more)
Admission:
Admission is Free, except an entrance fee for the participation.

Main goal of the event is for friendly competition in a family type atmosphere.

This is a three days event. Note that there are changes to the event day, time and location in the already announced details of the event to accomodate Ilavenil taking place on Saturday, June 23rd.

  • Day #1: Friday, June 22, 2012 -- 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm at Gil-O-Julien Park
  • Gil-O-Julien Park, 201 Donald Street, Ottawa, ON

  • Day #2: Saturday, June 23, 2012 -- 8:30 am to 2:00 pm at Clarke Fields Park
  • Day #3: Sunday, June 24, 2012 -- 8:30 am to 6:00 pm at Clarke Fields Park
  • Clarke Fields Park, 93 Houlahan Street, Nepean, ON

    Water, Snacks, Drinks and Meal:

    NCRTA will be providing water free of charge at the event.

    Food and drinks will be sold at the event on all three days. The proceeds from the food sale will go towards supporting fourteen war widowed families in a small village called Iyankan-Kulam, in Mullaitivu for Micro Credit Scheme through IMHO (International Medical Health Organization based in Toronto).
