Mr. Samuel Lawrence was selected as the recipient of the Saba Ravishankar Memorial Community Leadership Award for 2012 by the Selection Committee.
Mr. Samuel Lawrence is a humanitarian worker who is an early pioneer in building a strong Tamil Canadian society in Canada. He has contributed to the betterment of Sri Lankan Tamils throughout his life, specifically, more than 35 years of his work on the political and humanitarian fronts. Throughout his life, he has proved himself to be a man of great strength, dedication and character.
